Recipes: rice with quinoa and bay leaf
Suddenly, you find that little things make a smile come out of your chest.

That's how it happened on Saturday when I got some laurel branches at the fair. In front of its leaves, he appreciated the grooves that distilled a sweet aroma and smiled, because he felt it. I felt life in my hands, life in me, life around me.

In love with the laurel bouquet, I soon created a new recipe to taste it with excellence. Check it out!

Rice with quinoa and bay leaf

    - Ingredients

    • 3/4 cup of polished peccary rice
    • 1/4 cup tricolor quinoa beans
    • 2 cups of water
    • 12 fresh bay leaves
    • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
    • Salt to taste

    - Way of doing

Place a pan over medium heat, with the oil and bay leaves. Sauté for a minute, flavoring the oil. Add rice and quinoa. Stir involving the beans with the flavored oil for about a minute.

Add 2 cups of water and the salt. Mix and cover the pan. Let it cook until the water dries up and the beans are soft. Turn off the heat and remove the bay leaves.

Then, continue enjoying the aroma that fills the kitchen, that penetrates the beans, in you, and goes beyond all that.

Appreciate every bit in silence, in completeness.

    Bon appétit!

It is worth resisting the temptation to add garlic and onion, the flavor is unique, try it!

    Sweet kiss!
