I am fascinated by human relationships and as a poet and tavern philosopher I discuss the subject with the propriety of an elderly, experienced and self-possessed woman. But the truth is that I am nothing more than a girl/woman who ventures on this insane journey that is to live and surrender to others.
And that's how I've lived my relationships in recent years. I don't know how to be little, I throw myself in my head, dive into the dark, give myself, trust and enjoy every moment with great intensity. I pay a high price for it, but the bill would be even higher if I didn't allow myself for fear of getting hurt. How many times did I cry before going to sleep? How many times have I gathered the shards? But man, I discovered a damn good glue called faith! Faith in love! Faith that it exists and that I will live it to the fullest, yes! And that the person who will share all this with me is out there, one hour we bump into each other, if we haven't already… Who knows!
The fact is that there are a lot of people wanting to live a relationship, not love, then it becomes difficult. A relationship has rules that usually boil down to the other person's obligation to meet all your expectations and vice versa. Love has no rules, love is free, and freedom is hard to deal with! It's hard not to judge, not to fit the social label. How many stories do we know of people who abandoned their partner because it wasn't what they had idealized? Guys, love has no color, bank account, diploma, distance. As long as you're stuck with any of these questions, it's not going to happen!
Therefore, surrender… surrender your body, your soul and your heart. Surrender your fears, desires and dreams. Give your love and love will be given to you!
I'm going from here, surrendering, believing and living! As painful as it is sometimes, I don't allow myself to be otherwise! And that's what I wish for you too!
