Tips for a natural and healthy tan in summer

Summer is coming and all every woman thinks about is getting a tan, with that color that characterizes the season. But tanning requires some special care, because you don't play with the sun, right?

To ensure that golden color without damaging the skin and taking risks, we separate some special tips so that, in addition to tanning, you still have that color for a long time.

First of all, it is essential that you always go to the sun with a sunscreen. Protecting yourself from ultraviolet rays ensures that you won't be blindsided by a skin cancer diagnosis later on.

Second, always remember that haste is the enemy of a tan. It's no use wanting to get that uniform golden color in one day. Tanning takes time and patience. It is always recommended that you expose yourself to the sun little by little, calmly and with great care.

The best times to sunbathe are early morning and late afternoon, due to the lower incidence of sunlight.

Tips for a natural and healthy tan in summerIf you're not tanned yet and plan to get out in the sun soon, know that exfoliating your skin about two days in advance significantly improves your chances of getting a faster tan and even lasting longer. Now if you are already tanned, exfoliating your skin is not a good idea, as it will peel off more easily, removing your tan.

After going to the beach or taking a shower, the ideal is to use a body moisturizer or specific after-sun lotions.

To keep the tan on the skin for longer, it is recommended that you increase the consumption of products with beta carotene, a substance present in fruits and vegetables that gives them their orange color.

Another recommendation that must be strictly followed is the issue of water. Drinking plenty of water leaves your skin looking more hydrated, brighter and consequently more beautiful. In addition to hydrating the skin and preventing wrinkles, water is responsible for prolonging the bronze on the skin and helps not to let that famous peeling take over.

With these small steps, your tan will last much longer and you'll be rocking the summer color for much longer.
