Supper: the last meal of the day

There's nothing better in this life than a good night's sleep, right? However, some of our habits can end up turning our dream night into a nightmare. And the main one is overeating before bed. Therefore, to have a pleasant night, it is essential avoid eating foods that are too heavy and bet on supper, the last meal of the day.

Consuming light foods before that long-awaited sleep helps the body to stay fueled and our metabolism to work properly until the next morning.

Supper: the last meal of the day

Among the great benefits of betting on supper is weight loss. The last meal of the day helps that, during sleep, sugar levels remain in balance, thus preventing you from waking up with that immeasurable feeling of hunger.

Finally, going without food for a long time causes the body to stimulate fat retention, to prevent future fasting. In addition, supper prevents those unwanted love handles from settling in our body.

But watch out! Supper is indicated for individuals who take a break of at least three hours with dinner before going to sleep. This means that those who are in the habit of dining late at night should avoid the night supper, otherwise they will end up ingesting excess calories.
