Heat season: care you must have with the air conditioning

If we can't escape the heat, the best way is to cool off in the best way possible, isn't it? However, care is needed at these times. Getting sick in the heat is a very bad and unpleasant experience. We do not recommend this to anyone! Therefore, some care in hot weather is essential for you to be able to enjoy the days without running the risk of getting sick. In this text we will talk about the care you should have with the air conditioning.

Air conditioning is the real savior in offices and indoor environments on those days when going outside seems impossible as it is so hot. The problem is that it is through the air that we can contract various diseases and also negatively affect the respiratory system. When you breathe, the nose is responsible for filtering, humidifying and heating the air that enters our body, to avoid any respiratory problems. On the other hand, air conditioning does the exact opposite. It dries out and cools the ambient air, and in some cases it can bring some impurities into the air. Therefore, when we are exposed to air conditioning for a long time, some health problems can start to appear.

Cough, dry nose and throat, discomfort breathing, nose irritation, among other symptoms can be a consequence of exposure to air conditioning. We know that most of the time the problem is that we work or go to places where the air conditioning is always there and we can't turn it off (and we don't want to bake so hot indoors). So, to be able to stay in these places and still preserve your health, the correct thing is to keep the maintenance of the device up to date.

Heat season: care you must have with the air conditioning

Maintenance of air conditioners can be done ranging from every fortnight to a month or two. Some types of appliances may have a longer period of use condition without cleaning. But in the most popular appliances, the ideal is to do this cleaning frequently. The most common type of air conditioner has filters that trap dirt that enters it. Over time, dirt accumulates and, if not cleaned up, it can be thrown back into the air. So mites, fungi and bacteria can be infesting the environment without anyone realizing it, until someone gets sick and becomes suspicious of the air.

The tip here is to always charge the person responsible for the device to do constant maintenance. Each brand has an indication of authorized networks to carry out these maintenance, just consult the device manual or the company's website. Another tip that also helps is to always keep a coat close by. It may not solve the cleaning problem, but at least it helps to leave the body less exposed to the cold environment when the temperature is very low. If the heat is hard to bear, you can be sure that getting sick will make it even harder. So, prevent yourself and do your best to keep the air conditioning always clean.
