When thinking about your work do you feel an emptiness?

When thinking about your work do you feel an emptiness?

One of the most common questions I get is about mission and life purpose. The big point in this question for those who ask, is always a state of emptiness or lack of meaning in what you are doing, a deep demotivation, working only for money and doing things just to survive.

Those people who live in this way unconsciously know that they are out of an axis, whose reference is interior. Indeed, the work that “dignifies man” must be accompanied by meaning and significance. Otherwise, we will arrive with the feeling that life has passed and that nothing has been built.

I don't know if you feel this way at the moment, but the first point for those who feel life is meaningless and don't see motivation or meaning in what they do, is knowing that they need to discover their life mission.

And what I want to share with you here is that your life mission is already being lived in some way and you have been prepared for it and for it throughout all these years, you just haven't paid attention to this fact.

Many of us have been preparing for this mission and purpose for years without realizing it, and I want to share with you a little bit of what I've learned walking the path of this discovery and helping people walk that path.

The first thing you must understand is that the mission is immutable, it is something that is inherent to your soul, to your essence, it is a gift that you came to share here.

The mission is linked to what I call verbs of power. These verbs represent your actions. Not just any actions, but actions that move you intimately and that ignite something inside you.

What have been your current actions? What have you accomplished in recent years or would you like to be actually doing? What do you do that, when you do, lights the flame in your heart?

The answers to these three questions above can give you clues about your power verbs.

Maybe you're wondering why finding this out is important?

Simply, because its verbs of power underlie its mission.

Let's assume your power verb is "teach". Teaching is your mission, it's the gift of your soul, it's what moves your heart, you may be unmotivated where you are right now (even if you're teaching), but that doesn't mean your mission has changed. That means maybe your purpose has changed.

The verb of power, which represents its mission, does not change, but its purpose changes as soon as it fulfills its purpose.

Maybe you're teaching in the classroom and it doesn't motivate you anymore, maybe you find, in your new purpose, that lecturing is something that motivates you a little more.

Your purpose here has changed from teaching in classrooms to teaching by giving lectures. So, purpose is the way you deliver your mission. This way of delivering your gift can change, but your mission never!

Following the same line of example, you may want to live your mission and teach, for example, through writing, writing books, articles etc... Realize that this is another way of living the purpose around your mission (teaching ).

Did you realize that the mission doesn't change, but the purpose does?

You can have up to three power verbs that together will support your mission. This is not very difficult to discover, but many people go through life and believe that they have not yet discovered the mission or that it is difficult to find.

I want to help you find one of these verbs of power and get you closer to your mission by reading this article.

You may wonder what makes you most uncomfortable in life. If there is something that makes you unhappy, it may be that you have the capacity to solve this problem in people's lives, so it's just a matter of discovering your verb of power, and consequently, your mission.

Another question is: what do you do that makes people thank God for your life?

This is also a question that can lead you to clues about your power verbs and your mission.

Discovering mission and purpose can lead you on the path of prosperity and can also take you completely out of the field of demotivation for what you do. It's just a matter of adjusting your perception.

Discovering your mission and life purpose leads you to flow through life with more joy, which really brings meaning and meaning to what you are doing.

Most of the conflict that people experience and that give them this feeling of emptiness is linked to this conflict between the mission one has and the purpose lived in the moment. Many still confuse mission and purpose as something unique, but purpose has time to exist.

Sometimes you do something you love, but you're so unmotivated that you start to question why it's happening. This emptiness and discouragement come, which make you doubt yourself and your ability. All this is nothing more than the end of a cycle of purpose, the urgent need for a change of purpose so that the mission continues to flow.

Many students of the Academy of Purpose, have discovered their mission and are flowing harmoniously over their professional lives, have adjusted their routes and are experiencing a life full of meaning and joy, as well as prosperity, of course!
