When you ride in a boat and watch the shore, you might assume that the shore is moving. But when you keep your eyes close on the boad, you can see that the boat moves. Similarly, if you examine my riad things with a confused mind and body you might suppose that your mind and essence are permanent. When you pratice intimately and return to where you are, it will be clear that nothing has unchanging sale. Mestre Dogen

    Dear friends,

To practice Zen is to observe one's mind. Be aware of what thoughts and emotions do to the body.

It is listening to internal and external sounds.

It's looking at your own fluctuations without being carried away by them. How do I feel when I'm happy? And when I'm sad?

And how are my actions? How to act and not react?

I've been practicing Zen since 2006 and I'm still an apprentice. Since 2003 I have been traveling and living in Zen Centers in the United States and Mexico.

I draw and write about what I am experiencing. This is an invitation for you to travel with me and learn more about Zen.

    Hope you like it!
