What did the Coronavirus teach us? It's time to slow down

Today I bring a reflection on the latest events on planet Earth. The moment is one of uncertainty and a lot of apprehension. And at that time anxiety and fear are present in many people's lives. All this invites us to reflect deeply on our lives.

A virus that today travels between nations, and which was able to close borders, to make changes in countries, governments and in the life of the entire planet. Thus, we see that perhaps what many did not do in times of tranquility, normality and even bonanza is being done now, in an almost mandatory way.

What is this virus coming to teach us? Oh, we need to learn! Humanity will learn. Unfortunately it hasn't been for love!

The world stopped. It is as if the cry of the Earth says: "Either you wake up and change your posture, or everything will go down a road of no return, of pain and suffering." Perhaps Gaia is telling us, through this pandemic: “no more selfishness, no more greed, prejudice, pride, evil, no more seeking only personal interests, no more living in the world of illusions of appearance, of exacerbated materialism. Enough of stepping over each other to get what you want. Enough of injustices! Enough of the contempt! Enough of living like fools, running from one side to the other, without worrying about knowing yourself, evolving as a person, without letting the divine light expand within each one! Enough of forgetting the parents, the children. He arrives! No more living insanely looking only for material achievements, without worrying about spiritual health and even physical health! Enough of mistreating nature! He arrives!

Today we live in situations that many of us do not even imagine witnessing. Situations similar to this, many generations only had science, in the history books. And today we are part of a time that can be told to our descendants as a moment of crisis in world history.

Everyone was forced to stop their tasks, their commitments, their businesses, their investments, in a way that perhaps not even in their most bizarre thoughts could imagine.

Maybe today we can value the little moments, look other people in the eye, love more. Maybe today we can turn to inner healing, to spirituality, which has nothing to do with religion. And with that we can learn to respect the entire human race, regardless of their origin, social class, race or choices. Where will the one who judged others hide now? Where will those who killed in the name of God run? Those who climbed the floors of his rich company without looking him in the eye and saying good morning to the doorman? Where will he run with an infallible bank account, but with a broken heart, and, as Christ said, like a whitewashed tomb? Where will he run? And what good are man's diplomas and knowledge if the heart is empty of love and kindness? Where will you go? Of what use now are the applause and the flaming of the illusory ego? Well, all this will be the end that humanity itself will walk, IF IT DOES NOT WAKE UP! And even if you overcome the new coronavirus, you will continue in spiritual and existential decay, always walking, but you will not get anywhere!

Today, who knows, this virus can show once and for all that there is no difference, there is no separation between us. We're all connected. Regardless of our differences, choices, and options, we are, indeed, one race, the human race. There will be no way out until this is understood! As long as you don't turn inwards, towards self-knowledge, towards dialogue, towards inner peace, towards love. Let's learn from it! What did this virus teach us?

Let's grow and become more humble, simpler people and with the soul and heart of a child! Let's look them in the eye! Judge less! Love and care for our Earth! Learn from the challenges! We will definitely grow up!
