The power of your thinking

    It is not today that the concept of the power of the mind exists and is widespread among different circles of studies. Since ancient times, Buddhism and Hermeticism are philosophical currents that preach that the universe is mental, and everything is created through the mind. Today, science begins to accept this concept little by little. Quantum physics is slowly moving towards this wisdom, which has been around for a long time.

    But what matters to us is how we can apply this concept in a practical way in our daily lives. To understand how to get to this level, we first have to be aware that there are four planes of existence in the universe: the spiritual, the mental, the emotional and the physical, the latter being the plane on which we live in this current incarnation.



    The spiritual plane is the source of all primordial energy in the universe. Some call it God, others just the Universe or simply primordial energy. Then we have the mental plane, which is where our mind and the world of ideas are. And then the emotional plane, which is where all our emotions live. The physical plane materializes everything that we can manifest from the other planes, whether consciously or unconsciously. And so, we come to the central question that we propose here: the power of the mind.

    If everything that manifests in the physical world came from other planes, that means that if we have greater control of the mental plane (where our ideas and thoughts live), we can have greater control over what manifests in our lives. If the spiritual plane is a pure energy that we cannot change and the emotional plane is directly influenced by the mental plane, the secret (the authors of that famous book โ€œThe Secretโ€ referred to exactly that) is to have control over what happens in the mind, to have a full and conscious life.



    Adopt a meditation practice and learn to watch what you think. Also enjoy and notice how the information you consume and the environment around you influence your thoughts. Gradually, you can begin to take control of your mind and, consequently, materialize in your life what you envision.

    To practice, start watching what you think for at least five minutes a day and increase that frequency. Write down in a notebook all the thoughts you identify and classify them as beneficial or harmful. After that, start fighting negative ideas and give strength to those that are good for you. Also take the opportunity to write down your dreams and life goals and start mentalizing them daily. Learn to give strength to the right thoughts and you will have a proof of the power of your mind.
