The importance of becoming useless

There are days when I freeze, my head doesn't work at all, sometimes it freezes for weeks. Then I wander, just the body – I don't even know where the mind and soul go. I don't even produce. When I say 'lock', I mean 100% lock. For those who work mainly with the mind, it is difficult, we do not function.

This happened these days, I got stuck. I must have stayed about three weeks this time. Sounds like lazy talk and excuse.

    It might even be.

But as long as no one proves otherwise, I prefer to believe that I crashed.

When it comes to production, we have three paths: produce and work, brake or procrastinate. Procrastination is a fine line between stopping and producing. Not everyone knows how to procrastinate. It is an art – or a science, but it is undoubtedly a field that deserves a lot of attention.

People tend to demonize those who do nothing, the procrastinators, the stuck, the unproductive. We really want hard work, workaholic people, what we want is Bel Pesce waking up at 6 am and going to sleep at 0:50 am.

We envy those who run early, around 7 am, before going to work. Then he works well, and has only salad and protein for lunch, and takes care of the family, his bills are in direct debit and he still has an enviable social life. We see it and think: “Wow, how that person has an active, successful life.” People later think: “How silly I am, standing still. I can't leave the house on Saturday, I stay in bed”.

    The importance of becoming useless

I already thought I was unproductive, I've gone through coaching training, watched webinars and exercised to increase my concentration, slept with my cell phone to wake up early and run, made lunch with soy steak and white cheese. I even read a self-help book written by an executive.

Nonsense, all nonsense. One day I found out that this high performance and hard work production is all nonsense.

I can (and want) to sleep more.

We have to stop occupying our time 100%. Throwing activity into every window of our day. Windows, by the way, are great. They are the windows that show us other paths, other possibilities, other horizons. Windows are necessary.

It is idleness, procrastination and struggle that allow us to grow. I guarantee you the following: take your time completely and you will go into automatic.

As if that weren't enough, we start to occupy the children's time. It teaches ballet, taekwondo, English, math course, educational games, school, Eucharist and everything else.

“Empty head is the devil's workshop, hihi”, repeats the mother while enrolling the child in the children's entrepreneurship course. Leave the child unoccupied, leave this workshop – whoever it is – empty. Let the child look lost, imagine something else, imagine nothing, do nothing, do a lot.
