super hero syndrome

Have you heard? I particularly love superhero movies and their reflections. “Black Panther” (my shirt theme☺️) is one of my favorites.

Well, let's go. The Superhero Syndrome is when a person feels responsible for solving all the problems that are around him to avoid suffering in the world or himself, that is, he goes beyond the sense of help. It is about the will to save the other by assuming the problems and bringing the responsibilities to oneself, in the obligation to be a noble “hero”, “the one who supports everything, solves everything and wins everything”. It is also about an unbridled quest to always win, always be right and have the best choices, opinions and/or strategies.

Did you identify yourself ⁉ ️ If so, beware!

1 ️⃣ You need to realize that you can help others within your limits, respecting their moment and, MAINLY, letting the other develop, that is, allowing them to be able to assume their responsibilities and take care of the choices they make in life. .

2 ️⃣ You can only take responsibility for your own well-being and your own happiness. Understand that you don't have control over everything, much less over the other. This false feeling tends to generate guilt and frustration.

3️⃣ See if you are looking to be helpful. This need indicates some unbalanced process within you. When something is missing, the tendency is to want to “fill in” with what is outside. Not wanting to look at your emotions generates a projection on the feelings and needs of others.

4️⃣ Is there a requirement to win all the time and show how strong you are? This posture can be risky and make you cross the fine line between ethics and morals, between your space and that of the other, beyond that. When you don't get what you want, you can go into bouts of depression.

5 ️⃣ This impulse for wanting to impress and having to be applauded, praised and recognized all the time indicates a void in life and, little by little, a distance from who you really are, from your essence, in order to fit this ideal pattern established by you. same. This process requires a lot of awareness not to get caught up in a game of appearances.

How about being mere mortals and moving on with our peace of mind and in this search for self-knowledge, close to who is really worth it and everything that actually makes sense to us?

Note 1: Immortality requires study, discipline, self-knowledge, self-respect, self-care and self-love. Real immortality is our essence, it's what we take from experiences, it's everything we learn and that will be kept inside us regardless of where we are and/or what we live with. May we be that kind of hero!

Note 2: Movie superheroes often fail to save the ones they love the most and, in some cases, die in the end, “contradicting” their immortality.

Just be you. Winning your internal battles is already a process that requires a lot of work, discipline and willpower. You will encounter obstacles and stumble over stones along the way… All this will serve as a learning experience for you to improve as a human being and will improve your survival skills, your love for life and your will to evolve.

Look within and transform yourself into someone good for you, with integrity, with a good heart and with peace of mind. The consequence will be your energy emanating to others and to the world! 🙏🏻
