How to make a scented pillow?

Choose two or three herbs, so the aromas will be sharper. Check it out below how to make a pillow with herbs.

For adults:

Material

  • Patchwork 100% cotton. The measurement varies according to age, 30 cm x 35 cm (3 to 6 years old). 35 cm x 45 cm (7 to 12 years old), 45 cm x 65 cm (over 13 years old);
  • 1/2 cup of herb tea;
  • 1/4 cup of herb tea;
  • 2 drops of eucalyptus essential oil;
  • Fiber to accommodate the herbs on the pillow (optional).

How to do it?



  • Arrange the fabric forming an envelope;
  • Sew the 3 sides;
  • Place the herbs and fiber on the pillow. If you prefer, you can put the herbs in a cotton bag;
  • Sew the 4th side.

For babies aged 3 months to 2 years (for children under 3 months, consult your pediatrician):

  • Two 15 cm cotton squares;
  • 1/2 cup of chamomile tea

How to do it?


  • Sew three sides to form an envelope;
  • Place the chamomile on the pillow. If you prefer, you can put the herbs in a cotton bag;
  • Sew the last side.

put your pillow with herbs in the sun from time to time. When you don't feel the smell anymore, just remove the herbs and replace them.
