Restart

Throughout our lives, we will create countless opportunities to start over. Possessing the ability to start new cycles makes us, human beings, beings enlightened by the privilege of starting over. This great opportunity elevates us to a universe of infinite possibilities. We have the free will to choose.

When we make the conviction that we are protagonists of our own history, we will be able to make better decisions about our choices, attitudes, behaviors and thoughts. When we wake up to a new reality, we will end old cycles to start a new and virtuous journey.

In fact, changing our directions may not be such an easy task. Like everything in life, starting over requires a lot of attention from us. To walk new paths and trace routes never traveled before, it is necessary to stop wearing old shoes.

The “shoes” are often limiting beliefs, behavior patterns, attitudes, feelings and thoughts. And beginnings require a better version of ourselves.

When we allow ourselves to make improvements within, we bring light to our self, thus bringing a new chance to reconnect with our source. With self-observation exercises, we can gradually identify these points in order to become better and better in relation to what we want to transmute.

Truly starting over requires making different movements from what we were used to doing. As Albert Einstein said: “Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.”, that we can take advantage of this moment to take stock of ourselves. Taking notes can be very effective in this process.

How do we feel about our current state, truly?
What have we achieved so far and how positive have these achievements been in our lives?
How much “self-love” do we have and practice for ourselves?
How much love and attention do we share with our neighbors?
How much, so far, have we contributed to a better world?
We can add as many more questions as necessary for this process.

So too, on the other side of the sheet, we can answer what we want going forward.

What exactly do we want for our lives from now on?
What do we want to achieve and how positive do we want to feel about it?
How much “self-love” will we practice for ourselves?
And what will we do to love each other even more?
How much love and attention will we share with our neighbors?
How much more will we contribute to a better world?
What do we want to start over? Where are we going to start over?

We can also add here as many more questions as necessary for this process.

May we always question ourselves, self-evaluate and start over with an open chest in every day of our lives.
