Meditate to be abundant

This article is the third in a series that deals with mindfulness in 7 energy areas – inspired by the chakras – and how meditating and acting on them can be practical, useful and beneficial, regardless of dogmas or beliefs.

When we watch someone meditating – that person sitting in perfect, serene stillness – we can sometimes think, “I can't get to that level. Meditating is not for me. My mind is chaotic and restless.”

But how do you know what's going on in anyone's mind, whether or not they're meditating? Being silent, sitting in some posture that inspires the meditative state, does not mean being at peace, but possibly means being in search of inner peace.

If we don't have any method for this search for inner peace, when we have to deal with negative emotions, we end up focusing on what is so appreciated by the senses. If we don't learn to look for happiness within ourselves, we tend to look for it outside.

It is a dangerous path, which strengthens the craving for pleasures and the repulsion for suffering, clouding the fact that these two polarities are the same thing. We are taken by lust.

We become desirous of what is easy to obtain, such as caloric and superfluous foods from e-commerce. We become desirous of what is costly to obtain, such as dream vacations, vehicles and designer clothes. We become hostages to addictions that can compromise our health and finances and that start to consume other areas of our life, such as relationships, vocation, understanding and spirituality.

Meditation offers us a safe way to make an inner journey of self-knowledge.

Meditation is observing thoughts, feelings and emotions. And the greater this commitment, the greater the possibility of having to deal with negative emotions, but in this case we are not reinforcing harmful patterns, we are observing these patterns in ourselves.

And here is a great resistance in practicing meditation, after all, what is the use of this process, since we can suffer from identifying guilt, rancor, fear, shame or indignation?

It turns out that denying the difficult and uncomfortable limits your view of the world and reduces your ability to face life head-on. In meditation, we are not trying to spend eternity in a state of placid bliss. We are engaged in a practice of seeing clearly, thus changing the relationship with difficulty, including and embracing all that life offers.

    • Understand what they are and how to free yourself from limiting beliefs
    • Learn about the types of meditation and see which one you most identify with
    • Cherish money as a sacred energy!
    • What are chakras?

This is how we can allow abundance in our lives. We know that good days and bad days will come and we know that we can act on both. As? Observing the phenomena of life without attachment.

In this way, we are no longer inclined to accept the famous limiting beliefs, which say “money is dirty”, “money doesn't grow on trees”, “I don't know how to deal with money” and “those who make easy money are corrupt”. We can focus on the present moment and do what is necessary – be it work, study, partnerships, agreements or commitments – without the heavy burden of guilt and without the excessive burden of anxiety.

Denying suffering limits your ability to connect with happiness and abundance.

Practice or mantra: “I am disciplined, deserving and confident. The necessary will always come.”
