    Kabbalah Studies – Ki Tissa
β€œGo, come down, for his people, whom you brought up out of the land of Egypt, have corrupted.” (Exodus 32:7)

Moses goes up the mountain to receive the Tablets of the Law, written by God. While on the mountain, the people rebel and make a god to worship, the so-called golden calf. Moses is disappointed and the Tablets are broken, but he defends the people before God. So Moses returns to the mountain and receives new Tablets.

We often make stupid decisions and are driven into complete darkness. The lesson we learn here is that when we recognize our mistakes and propose to walk according to the laws of the Eternal, we will reach enlightenment, immortality. There is always a way out, no matter how difficult it may seem. But it all depends on us, on our effort and desire to find the solution. Even in the darkest place, there is light. The Eternal is everywhere. It is enough that we have the desire to connect with the Creator, to reveal the Light.

Repent of your mistakes. Follow the Creator's laws. Reveal your Light.

    Shavua Tov!
