It rained… So what?

We want to live in a brigadier sky, but sometimes, it rains. Despite preparations to move into the beach house, a storm comes and sweeps away the promise of a bright summer. Often, we cannot predict bad weather. And, contrary to what everyone tells us, we couldn't see the clouds in the sky. Simply, the storm caught us off guard.

But, if in that period we were not able to be meteorologists of our time, we can, at least, live in the open like the farmer, who prepares himself by covering and plowing the land so that it does not become devastated. Because we may not avoid a storm, but if it will dry up, just delaying or even not affecting the harvest is our decision.

Dense clouds may not give way to a beautiful horizon, but feeling the sun depends only on the greater will to believe that it is right there behind that gray curtain. The secret may be to go beyond the vision of the storm, to glimpse a blue horizon. The problem is when for some mishap we give up on “hitting the road” and miss a promising trip. For fear of not being able to master the bad weather, we will not know if what awaited us was more rain or a beautiful rainbow.

    It rained… So what?

Resting in the sun is really good, the warm sand and the calm sea bring us incredible peace, but we may have to swim in rough seas to take care of the boat we have. A cloudy sky can be a great opportunity to test our balancing skills on a board. After all, surfing under scorching skies can dehydrate a beginner. Lying on a leafy tree is great, but a dry branch can give you the opportunity to see the strong trunk and strong branches twisted by the action of the wind.

Bad weather shouldn't be a reason to give up on a promising trip. The secret is to embark following the rearview mirror, but believing that there is a beautiful horizon ahead of you to conquer. If the thick clouds pass, the rain clears and the wind stops, perfect, it will be a beautiful sunny day and your brigadier sky project has just been delayed. But, if for some reason, you look out the window and it's raining at your destination, put on your best flip-flops and take a shower, enjoy the wind hitting your face and understand why the leaves disintegrate on that tree that covered you. Make your stormy sky the best it can be.

Think that trees see their leaves disintegrate. Some despair of their squalid appearance and allow themselves to be embraced by the storm, receiving a fatal discharge from it. Others do not take root enough and are carried away by the wind and time, but those who believe do not despair or withdraw. They continue to live and although they seem lifeless, they use this phase to better cling to their roots. Thus, they will present us with beautiful fruits and useful flowers, sun after sun, for generations without end.
