Why do we dream?

The mind never stops. Even in the dream she is acting. And through dreams we can capture many things. Everyone dreams, but not everyone remembers dreams. They arouse curiosity, when they are good, the desire for fulfillment is great, otherwise we are happy when we wake up and realize that it was just an illusion.

Many dreams are mixed. Some have more color, some don't. Who began to question the dream was the psychoanalyst Sigmund Freud, who tried in the 1900s to bring another explanation for the dream that was treated as a supernatural phenomenon by some religions.

How does the dream happen?

From a scientific point of view and according to experts, the dream is a purely cerebral and physiological creation, that is, when we sleep, there is muscle relaxation and brain activity is altered and various functions such as emotions, memory and memories arise.

In this sense, there are emotional, mental and visual stimuli. The brain awakens within itself, but the body remains paralyzed. So it is a purely mental activity that contributes in some way to learning. This relaxation helps us organize our mental files that may have occurred the day before.

Science explains that the plot of our dreams varies. They are a mixture of symbols, people who have died, objects, environments that make this mental script happen. And experts still claim that the conscious still has the power to establish the dreamer's own desires and wishes. Interesting no?

Depending on the person's stage, it is very common to dream of some kind of dream. For example, if it is a year that you intend to pass the contest, due to the intense study routine, it is normal to bring aspects of the contest into the dream. There may be mixtures and signals. Not that the dream can bring any proof of what will happen, if it is a dream with approval. Even because there is no scientific proof that many people fear and that they claim to happen in their lives, that dreams bring signs and evidence of what can happen. The most recurrent dreams are: nightmares, repetitive, focal.

It is normal to wake up at dawn after a dream and go back to sleep and the next day to completely forget what we dreamed about. That's why you can keep a diary near your bed, where you write down key words to remember the next day. Although we soon forget what we dreamed precisely because the dream contains a “mixture” of facts and objects and our memory is not inclined to keep everything.

What's the importance of dreams?

There is a well-known phrase from Freud which says the following: “Dreams are the fulfillment of desires”. Science says that dreaming helps in learning. But I believe the dream goes far beyond that. Why do people tell us not to stop dreaming about what we want?
