What are Tiny Houses?

Imagine having a home you could take wherever you wanted? Wouldn't that be the best? This is the concept of Tiny House: trying to show that we can live with less and in smaller spaces. If your house is big, of course this doesn't apply. But, with a Tiny House it is possible to live in smaller spaces and also in a more sustainable way.

We know that the bigger the house, the higher the costs, from maintenance to general expenses. A lot of people are getting involved with the Tiny House concept, which is to consume less and be easier to travel and go somewhere else.

Can this movement occur in España?

In Spain, the Tiny House movement is still little known. Most of the houses are less than 40 m² and from a distance they even resemble a doll's house because they are so small. After all, why do we really need a huge house to live in?

What are Tiny Houses? This movement proposes a reflection on how it is possible not only to live with less and in smaller places, without accumulating objects throughout a lifetime that would need many trucks to pack the change. With Tiny House, no. The space is enough to live and move freely around the city and even in public spaces.

Even with many advantages, Tiny House in España is a novelty. There are companies that manufacture this type of house. Although it is not a trend here, nothing prevents the circulation of Tiny House in the country in the future.

to break

We can say that in the country the Tiny House is a novelty, but it does not represent a break with the old patterns that the Spanish are used to, that of living on large plots and with huge houses where a maximum of 4 people live.

What are Tiny Houses? It's a cultural thing because this tendency was created for the Spanish to work hard to have a huge house, where they spend few hours a day, but it's something that can still change. Container houses are already better known and also caused a certain buzz when people started talking here. Anyway, Tiny House has its perks. The prices are still not inviting, some companies can charge a lot to make these tiny houses, since they need a series of adaptations so they can travel with their owner.
