Waking up early (and still with the noise of the alarm clock) is one of the most difficult tasks of the day. And, for sure, one of the ones that can affect your mood the most during your first waking hours. If you are someone who finds it difficult to get in a good mood early on, here are some tips that can help you get through this inevitable part of your routine:

Music

Nowadays smartphones have the option to set a song as an alarm clock. Try to choose some lively music that you really like to help you wake up in a more good mood. Test multiple songs until you find one that works best. And once you find it, you can even create a playlist to listen to while you brush your teeth and eat breakfast.



Bath

As hard as it is to wake up a few minutes early to take a shower, getting in touch with water early in the morning is a great way to improve your mood. You don't have to force yourself to take a very cold or very hot bath, leave the water at the temperature that suits you best and relax.

Food

Having breakfast with something you really enjoy can make all the difference in your mood. Go to the grocery store on the weekend and stock up on your favorite breakfast foods for the whole week to start the day with a lot of fun.

Choosing sleepy clothes can be a very difficult task. Leave the day's clothes separated the night before and get precious minutes of sleep early in the morning.
