Starting over… A good start to a new life – Chapter 9

Chapter 9 – DREAM A DREAM DREAM: IT EVEN GIVES SAMBA ENREDO!

This creative phrase is strikingly simple. I don't know who to credit the authorship to, as it appeared on my screen I don't know how, but I swear I would like it to be mine. Dreams, of bakery or clouds in our minds, are sweet, tasty and when they run out they can be replaced by others, with new flavors, textures and meanings. The dream of starting over is extremely sweet: apparently, the sweet tone that carries and renews itself must be produced by a queen bee, according to a tale I heard in my distant childhood, when they wanted me to take purgative to give a general cleaning inside. I was five or six years old, I must have taken that disgusting thing, but I kept the idea of the queen bee with me, because I always imagined that it was a bee with all colors and that it kept in its heart the secret of the sugars of all the honeys. . If the act of starting over is a dream at a given moment, it can show itself and with the touches of sweetness that we need in the following moments, last as long as necessary.

Let's speak in language without sweets and similar flavors and let's put what to think about nuances of other flavors, starting with the salty, in a symbology without great literary flights, but opportune at this moment: the dream, when it comes undone, leaves a trail of acidic bitterness, in aggressively salty tones. A long-awaited restart that turned out differently to what was expected or that had to be abandoned needs some time to be eliminated, however long it may be. The dream can be pursued again in another bakery: once a stranger told me in the lobby of an airport that whenever something didn't go right in his life, the next step was to change everything, and for starters, since he loved good food so much. , he was looking for a new restaurant to enjoy an “au grand complet” dinner, including wine from a cellar protected from the eyes of a certified oenologist, and he took time to taste each portion and each sip. Between one and the other, he evaluated what had happened and highlighted what to avoid and what to do in the sequence of events (a fresh start…). According to him, and I see no reason to doubt it, the strategy worked very well, and at least, as I allow myself to deduce, at least the sour/salty flavor was sublimated by the flavors of the beautiful dinner.

What cannot be done, when a dream has gone up in smoke, to close this little piece of the book is: to think that there are no more bakeries where to buy the dream (there are many more and some are creative to the point that we want to send prudence and medical recommendation to beans).

Believing that a dream shattered by a poorly resolved restart is devastating to the point that nothing else grows in its place. In this regard, remember that the Soviets, during the Cold War, detonated 456 atomic bombs at the Semipalatinsk Proving Grounds, in the so-called Polygon of Kazakhstan… and it is said that life is still manifest in those parts.

Ignoring that it is not without reason that nature bets so much on renewal, whatever the circumstances: a tree falls, the nests that it sheltered will be rebuilt, you step on the entrance of an anthill, another will soon be built there, a fire takes over. from the pasture, it doesn't take long and the grass reappears green and wet…and it has been that way for many years before we left the caves.
