Shut the imps of your negative thoughts

Our thoughts are so mysterious. The most curious thing is knowing that there are so many and so many at the same time that we have contact with only a portion of them. In this case, less than half.

Human thought is the result of the interpretations we make in face of situations, places and sensations with which we have contact and which we codify, in some way, according to our experience and knowledge.

Thinking makes us have ideas and consequently we can guide our attitudes. It's that old explanation that body and mind work together. In a simplified way, we can say that the mind rules the body through thoughts.

energy and thought

We are surrounded by different energies and we are also composed of several of them. Therefore, our thinking and behavior are influenced by this energy flow on both sides.

In situations where we are surrounded by good people, environments where we feel comfortable and confident, we keep a positive mind. However, in contrary situations, our head tends to be negative, putting us down, discouraging us and not opening any space for the good side of things to be apparent and reliable.
“Devils” in the Ears

Shut the imps of your negative thoughts

Negative thinking manifests itself in our consciousness and sounds like “little devils” in our ears, telling us what we should and should not do.

The hardest thing is not listening to them and trying to understand the situation in order to improve it. The great danger is in getting on the devil's bandwagon and following their advice that will not do us any good.

Here's how to ignore the negative guidance that may be lurking around your brain:

- No comparisons:

Comparisons are the path to disappointment and dissatisfaction. When we compare ourselves with other people for their clothes, their behavior or their beauty, for example, we tend to put ourselves as less than others, as worse. Comparisons make the idea of inferiority remain in our head, disregarding that everyone has their own history, their own way and their trajectory. Always remember your personal and unique value.

- Say it louder:

When the bad thought is around, speak louder than it. Then identify him and try to say, out loud, the opposite of what he proposes. Sometimes talking to yourself is a good way to better see all that you are and can still be.

– Personal Compassion:

Wrong in some attitude or failing in some task doesn't make you the worst person in the world. Blaming yourself all the time or not letting the feeling of regret pass prevents us from growing. Get rid of extreme demands and be less hard on yourself, this will give you freedom and confidence to perform your tasks better and not repeat mistakes.

– Exchange experiences:

When everything seems very wrong in your life, get in touch with other lives. You will see that nothing is as bad as it seems and that people can help each other.
