Seicho No Ie: in search of a purpose

Seicho-No-Ie is a teaching of love that began in Japan in the 30s. Its teachings were written by Masaharu Taniguchi (November 22, 1893 – June 17, 1985) who was one of the leaders spirits in Japan.

Seicho-No-Ie means “Home of Infinite Progress”, Infinite Universe. It is possible to find in Seicho-No-Ie a doctrinal set that incorporates elements from Christianity, Buddhism and Shintoism.

Considered a philosophy of life, Seicho-No-Ie aims to awaken people's hearts with the truth through deeds, words and thoughts to make a better world.



A philosophy of Seicho-No-Ie

Seicho-No-Ie can be considered a religion as well as a philosophy of life. And this philosophy is closely linked with everyday practice and attitudes. Anyone interested in Seicho-No-Ie needs to take into account that trying to live this philosophy will only be able to acquire meaning through practice in everyday life.

Feelings such as love, kindness, faith and gratitude gain an extra value when practiced daily from the philosophy of Seicho-No-Ie, which already has a multitude following its teachings. His master Masaharu Taniguchi wrote more than 400 books, among them the Collection called “The Truth of Life” (40 volumes) which forms the basis of all the teachings of Seicho-No-Ie.

His philosophy says the following: “It is a teaching of love that preaches that the human being is a child of God, that the world of matter is a projection of the mind and, also, reveals to us what our true nature is”. And his followers must practice love and charity to their neighbor.

A Shinsokan Meditation Seicho-No-Ie

There is a meditation at Seicho-No-Ie that lasts about 30 minutes and the practitioner tries to visualize God's creations as well as harmonize all aspects of his life.



In this meditation it is possible to connect with the inner self and see the eyes of the world that God created without criticizing. It is a praiseworthy and grateful moment.
