Party on December 13: Celebrated every 13th
If you are upset with someone or something, you need Santa Luzia's help. Santa Luzia is also the saint who protects and solves all problems related to people's “eyes”.
She received this beautiful mission from Our Lord, because, as tradition says, for not accepting false gods (greed, arrogance, etc.), she was arrested and her eyes were gouged out, but the next day she had perfect eyes.
Prayer:
“Saint Luzia, consecrated to God with a vow of chastity, you faced with fortitude those who tried to violate this vow. You did not accept in any way to worship false gods and, therefore, you were martyred. Obtain for me from God firmness in my good purposes. Protect me against the evil of the eyes. If you have an eye problem, say what it is and ask for help). Make me use my eyes, just look at the world and people with charity and optimism. Through your powerful intercession, obtain for me the strength to overcome any setback, especially what I'm going through now (say what setback), keeping alive my faith in Jesus Christ, our only Lord! Be Christic!
He, who lives and reigns with the Father and the Holy Spirit, for all ages and ages. Amen!".
