Moisturizing with Apple Cider Vinegar

Nowadays, women always come up with some homemade hydration to take care of their hair without spending a lot in beauty salons. Ingredients such as egg whites, avocados, honey, among many other food products are used to hydrate and strengthen the wires, as they carry several benefits.

I don't know if you know, but in addition to being an amazing food seasoning, apple cider vinegar is a great ally for hair health. With its low (acidic) pH, apple cider vinegar helps balance the pH of the hair. You may wonder about this β€œpH” thing, but know that the higher the pH is, the more porous and split-looking the hair is.

When we acidify our hair (with apple cider vinegar, in this case), it returns to its natural pH, closing the cuticles, which allows the strands to absorb more nutrients. And of course, as a consequence, the locks are extremely shiny and soft. Ah, in addition to all the reconstruction and hydration that this type of vinegar provides, it works very well in the prevention and treatment of dandruff and seborrhea on the scalp, avoiding flaking, redness and itching.

It is worth emphasizing that other types of vinegars ARE NOT indicated, as the fermentation of the apple during the production of vinegar is what provides the desired result. Under no circumstances use wine or alcohol vinegars, as they have a higher amount of pH and this can damage and dry your hair. If you don't have apple vinegar in your house, use organic vinegars (from tubers, cereals or other fruits), as they contain nutrients, vitamins and organic acids.
