Let life surprise you everyday

With the increasingly busy and exhausting routine, divided basically between sleeping, working and other things you can be willing to do when you're not sleeping or working, it's difficult to try different things. If we already have so little time to dedicate to ourselves and what makes us happy, then why waste those precious hours, maybe minutes, trying to make new discoveries that might not please you?

You may not agree and even criticize this ideology, but you cannot deny that it is extremely sensible. After all, why try raw fish from sophisticated Japanese food, for example, pay dearly and risk not liking it, when that delicious lasagna, your favorite food, is well within your reach? Why exchange the right for the dubious? If we get stuck in this philosophy, most likely society would have stagnated in the first warm cave it found in prehistory.

Let's admit that we don't need to go back in time that much. As stated in the first paragraph, the routine alone allows us to create our β€œcaves” in our lives. It's up to each one to want to settle in their own cave, work to transform it or explore other caves.

You don't have to literally go exploring a cave in the middle of the forest to do something innovative. It is true that if you have money, everything is easier: skydive, take a trip, start a new course, buy a video game and a series of other more or less innovative facilities that purchasing power can provide. But luckily, new discoveries aren't just restricted to people who have money, so it's possible for all of us.

You can read a new book, go for a walk in the park, visit an old friend, paint your house or a series of other things that you have left undone due to a series of factors, which can range from the impossibility of routine time or that basic laziness we all have. But you can also make changes in another segment that directly affect everyone else, in attitude.

If you have any fear, face it! If you have a problem, solve it! If you have any enemies, make them a friend. As much as you can buy a video game to add more excitement to your life, the real control is in your hand.
