That question is also necessary: is it necessary to pray? Who doesn't say a prayer is forgotten?
We certainly need to pray, pray and pray, because only then will we be able to externalize our desires to the Most High. Even if this prayer is in thought, in a moment of recollection, because it is often difficult to obtain harmony, especially in some environments, it is essential that we pray.
It is true that the Creator knows our difficulties, feelings and thoughts, but we need to communicate, to connect with Him. Only by taking a moment of recollection can we achieve this connection.

There is a range of oratory quotes used by the most diverse religions. Some hardly speak, others murmur, others speak loudly, others express themselves in the midst of melodies and even dances. It doesn't matter, because at the base of everything is thought and intention.
Many people need to relate their prayer to images, accessories, amulets and books. This is also natural, as it goes from every religious understanding.
On the other hand, there are religions that do not adopt any visual apparatus, preferring only mental concentration and externalizing prayer in the form of dialogue with the Creator.
Prayer, prayer or prayer... The name does not influence, but it must be done, yes, because if we act in this way we will already be demonstrating simplicity and humility. We must also consider that God, knowing our needs, expects from us the attitudes and action to solve the problems that many times originated from our bad conduct and the attitudes we take. Every time we make a mistake, we will surely have to bear the consequences.
Every prayer is heard, especially by our Protector who is always with us and who seeks to calm us from anxiety, but mental recollection is necessary to, in concentration, ask for what we desire.
It is also important to take into account that often what we want will not happen, because later on it would be an obstacle for us, reinforcing the following maxim: “we made a plan, but God has another”.
Jesus taught us the universal prayer, the Our Father! This is our guide to meditate, but let us also always recite it in gratitude, not expecting to do it only in difficult moments.
