I surrender โ€“ I surrender

Surrender is not a welcome word for the ego, because it connotes failure, loss of control, passivity, the end of power.

In a win-lose context, surrender expresses shame, an unworthy attitude.

But if you want to reach fulfillment not in the world โ€œout thereโ€, but in the world โ€œin thereโ€, you will inevitably have to surrender.

Being full means surrendering, giving up the way you see yourself, giving up the way you see the other, surrendering to life, surrendering each morning.

Looking at everything and saying, "Okay, I'm here for everything to flow from me, without waiting for life to give me something". Life owes you absolutely nothing; she already gave you everything.

To surrender is to let go of the masks, to drop resistance, to drop opinions, to drop the fear of being without money, without love, without youth, without friends.

Surrender is to undress in an audience surrounded by dressed people; it is to surrender to the unknown, to failure, to fear, to exposure, to criticism.

Surrender is not passivity, apathy, or escape.

Surrender is believing in life, believing in yourself, believing that everything is right, that the best is happening and that you are not in control.

I'm not just referring to psychological surrender, but also physical surrender, to your body, which becomes harder and more rigid as your rigidity and the resistances you carry tense, contract. Is your back, knee, leg and shoulder pain just a consequence of physical exertion?

Energy trapped because of unlived, unfelt and unreleased emotions end up staying in certain parts of the body, bringing energy blockage and, consequently, pain and illness.
