How vulnerable are you willing to be?

Synonymous with uncertainty, risk, emotional exposure and insecurity is something everyone wants to avoid. However, if we stop to analyze it, we are all extremely vulnerable. We don't know how long we have to live, we don't know when someone we love is gone. To be alive is to be vulnerable.

The man, however, continues tirelessly in search of minimizing this feeling that causes so much fear and pain. We learn to protect ourselves and use all the comforts possible not to expose ourselves, so we create a comfort zone around us. Initially, a sense of protection grows, but it never sustains. We end up living life according to our comfort zone and, when we take a closer look, we are living a mechanized life, without deep joy, with less vulnerability, but at what cost? How much does it cost to reach the end of your life and see that you could have risked more, been braver and lived longer?

To live your life to the fullest, you need to step out of your comfort zone, let go of the known and go in search of the unknown.

Many people spend years and lives dreaming of this possible change but are not able to execute it, turning something that could be real into a distant dream.

It takes courage to change and any change brings vulnerability. Being willing to be vulnerable is the only way to be your best self. It is only through vulnerability that you will get the courage to act, expose yourself and chase your dream, no matter how far away it is. On the way, we often feel fear and we feel danger, but it is only this way that gives us access to being our true SELF.

In addition, being vulnerable makes room for:

  1. Creativity: accepting our vulnerability, we turn our creative potential into something grandiose, daring and with unrestricted potential;
  2. Innovation: valuing a personal culture that allows you to experiment and, consequently, to be vulnerable, allows you to innovate in your way of living, in your work and in your way of facing life;
  3. Confidence: if you understand that to generate change it is necessary to be vulnerable, you start to manage the change process with more confidence and clarity, you know that mistakes and failures will be inevitable along the way, but you are not intimidated by this; don't let your cognitive persuade you with millions of negative questions highlighting vulnerability and risk as 100% negative.

We are vulnerable consciously or not, so why not use that vulnerability to create something new that you want so badly? Choose courage over comfort. Put yourself in the ring of those people who undress their masks, their comfort zone and, with courage, fight for their ideals and transform their lives and those of others.
