A língua eo dever de refreá-la

I have always had Christianity as the basis of morals and ethics, which in a way goes against everything I stand for, and I am fascinated by that reason.

I see a lot of criticism of Christianity, and in all cases I disagree with all the accusations, the fact that I consider of extreme importance are the teachings that are transmitted through the real defenders of this way of living.

I remember a passage in a letter that bears the title "Epistle of James." According to some Christians the title should be completed with the term “righteous”. The reader will be able to see why this term should be used.

In the third chapter, the author devotes his attention to the language and its usefulness. How can we use this small organ to bless and curse others, as the popular saying goes:

“The wound that a sword makes is healed; the one who makes a language is incurable”. The saying is correct in the sense that I am using it. That little organ is capable of destroying an entire body, the fool makes his own ditch, and the wise man remains silent.

I learned from reading James that when we can bridle our tongue, we are able to bridle our body. He uses examples from his time, the rudder and bridle used on horses, both are small instruments that strongly command a wild animal and the boat in a great storm. The author understands that this organ is capable of contaminating the body completely.

Our duty is to restrain this little organ, but how is that possible? I learned that we can change this whole context, when we learn something in our tribulations, adversity, etc.

Of course, if you haven't learned anything, your situation is likely to be completely draining from lack of patience; the sense of patience is strongly linked to emotional control and the ability to endure unpleasant situations. Soon, I understood that before trying to control this small organ, I should work on something that I consider

a little difficult, which is patience; when we persevere, we understand that patience and the ability to control our language are linked to the characteristic of a completely educated and humanized human being, who has not fallen for their boasting.
