    Anxiety and spiritual experience

Anxiety is an evil that has been reaching more and more people and with more and more strength, with each crisis we think that we will not last longer, that we will never have a normal life again, but it all depends on the point of view and for me, so as I wish it to be for you, it was a moment of deep reflection, it was a time of healing, of change, it was a time that I restarted myself and was enough for each crisis.

A quick look at my life… I woke up with a lot of pain, I went to the hospital and no one could find out why this pain, until we found out that it was tension and anxiety. I thought to myself: “But me? So calm.” I cried and felt those terrible symptoms, I had to go on medication. Racing thoughts and fear, a lot of fear, but totally unfounded.

But at that time I prayed a lot, I cried a lot, I was taken to the bottom. I, who always saw myself so strong, went to the bottom, to the ground, to nothingness. And thank God for that! I'll never be the person I was before the crisis, thankfully. It was a time of much “Pray and watch”, a time of “Love your neighbor as yourself”, a time of “70×7”. It was a time of feeling Jesus, of him being my first, last and only option. But it took me a long time to understand that.

In these moments of pain, we learn the most. We learn to use teas to calm ourselves, because herbs are a gift from the creator, we learn to pray and have direct contact with heaven, and with anxiety we pay attention to the little things, for a plate of food that we can eat or for a good night's sleep. We learn love.
