Identify early pregnancy symptoms

O

Eight days after conception, the fertilized egg settles in the uterus. It is at this stage that the HCG hormone begins to be produced, which confirms pregnancy through the Beta HCG test. But, even before clinical confirmation, delayed menstruation, swelling and breast enlargement, a lot of urge to pee and nausea show that a baby is on the way. However, there are symptoms unknown to some women. If you are trying to get pregnant, learn to identify the first symptoms of pregnancy and know when they arise.

Identify early pregnancy symptoms

1. Pinkish vaginal discharge

Occurs within minutes and at most 3 days after intercourse. This discharge is the result of the sperm entering and going to the uterus. Women notice an excess of vaginal discharge and blood residue after urinating.

2. Intolerance to strong smells

Even the mild aromas bother the expectant mother. Strong-smelling products such as cleaning products and fuel make the woman vomit. This intolerance begins well before the first two weeks of pregnancy.

3. Belly bloating and cramping

Abdominal bloating and cramps happen in the first few weeks, due to the increase in blood in the region and also to the hormonal action to protect the embryo. Bloating and cramping may be accompanied by a small amount of bleeding, similar to menstruation. In the 7th week, the woman notices that the region below the navel is hardened.

4. Mood swings

Pregnant women are very sensitive and cry for no reason in the first two weeks. Emotionality on the surface lasts throughout pregnancy and is motivated by hormonal changes, in addition to worries, anxiety and possible internal and external pressures. The partner and family are essential for moms to feel emotionally well.

5. Fatigue

In the first two weeks the woman feels very tired and sleepy. This happens because the organism is working at full speed in the conception of the embryo and development of the placenta. The process involves falling blood sugar levels and hormonal changes, hence the complaints of fatigue.

6. Skin changes

During the first few weeks there may also be the emergence or increase of oiliness, consequently, pimples and blackheads. The culprit is the explosion of the hormones estrogen and progesterone. The levels of these substances increase by up to 30 times.

7. Vomiting and increased saliva

Vomiting preceded by morning sickness starts from the 6th week of pregnancy. Some women have these symptoms throughout their pregnancy. Salivation can also last up to 9 months.

8. Swollen and sensitive breasts

Another sign that appears in the first two weeks. In addition to the increase and sensitivity, the areola can become dark, due to the intensification of blood flow.

9. Dizziness and headaches

Nausea, vomiting, decreased blood pressure and glucose levels are responsible for the dizziness that appears in the first few weeks. Usually, this symptom gradually disappears in the 20th week. Headaches are the result of intense hormonal changes. They are constant but weak.

10. Pregnancy symptoms before missed period

Pregnancy symptoms in the first days after ovulation and fertilization bring many doubts to women. These symptoms arise mainly because of hormonal changes related to progesterone, which increases shortly after ovulation already mentioned. The purpose of this increase is to preserve the endometrium, so that implementation in the uterus and pregnancy development is possible. At this stage, the common symptoms that may indicate that the woman is pregnant before her period is late are:

– Sore breasts
– Mild cramping or abdominal pain
- Nausea
– Excessive tiredness
– Darkening of the areolas
– Pink bleeding (can happen up to 15 days after fertilization)

An important point to be highlighted is that all the symptoms mentioned above can also appear in the premenstrual phase, which would not be indicative of pregnancy. The tips, in this case, are to wait for the menstrual delay to really be confirmed and try to do tests that prove that the woman is really pregnant.

The tests that should be done in this case are blood tests to identify the Beta HCG hormone - a hormone related to pregnancy - and the urine. Both can be ordered by a gynecologist.

Knowing how to identify the first symptoms of pregnancy allows you to prepare better and enjoy the phase. See pregnancy tips.
